Sometime in the days of my youth, around when I was maybe 9 years old I was introduced to what was to me an ultra high tech stereo system. At the time I loved anything that was a gadget and playing around with them to see how they worked. I really wanted to play with this hi-fi, it had digital displays for the radio and little wavey meters for the left and right speakers when you recorded something. I had had enough of the cheap plasticy toy from Fisher Price that just recorded my voice, I wanted more.
